Leftist hate conservative thought but love people who promote conservative ideas. Leftist firmly believe that redemption is available to every person. In general we try to focus on the argument not the personality. But it can not be denied that the conservative fallacy is advanced by individuals. The goal of this section is profile each conservative figure noting their styles of argument.
Hopefully when we start getting contributions we will be able to get information on personalities that are just emerging. Of course the greatest hope of catching promoters early is that they may be dissuaded from the error. Many have lived in a sheltered environment where their viewpoint has never been challenged. Once a person gains a following it is much harder to discredit his or her false assertions because his or her followers develop a personal loyalty which transcends reason. Further once a person has developed a reputation the media often cease to analyses their augments.
For all of these reasons there is limit on how obscure a person can be to be profiled. Of course we would like to profile any member of a conservative campus group, any republican, and any member of a conservative church. But we also want to profile “Fred” at your office. Anyone who espouses a conservative point of view. The only exception is that will not profile anyone under 18.
The profiles should be sent to MilitantLeftist@gmail.com They should be in the following format. They should start with a profile. The profile should include the persons affiliations with conservative groups and individuals, their place of employment, job title and education. Next one should list common arguments by the person profiled, notable quotes by the profiled, and general style of argument. Also include any advice as to how to respond to this person's arguments. Finally links to sites that provide information about the person profiled.
Contact information if known should be provided. Only contact information intended by the profile subject to be available to the general public. Never submit physical address, private phone number or private e-mail. Never provide any information about children below the age of 18.
Negative or embarrassing information about the subject is rarely desired. Only in the case where the information directly affects arguments that are made by the individual. Even then generally no. We are against conservative arguments we love conservative people!
