We are entering a critical time in our
nation's history. The end of the Bush Presidency offers many
opportunities. But the work ahead is very onerous. We can not
kid ourselves. Bush has done a very good job of creating the
infrastructure of tyranny. Bush has managed to institutionalize
torture, dispense with the centuries old right of habeas corpus, and
claimed for himself unlimited powers under the treasonous falsehood of
“Unitary Executive.” The Democratic congress is doing little to undue
these travesties. The greatest danger is that we will lose our will if
a now that Obama has been elected Presidentt. As long as these previous wounds to
the Constitution fester they remain very effective tools for those who
would create a dictatorship, especially after a horrendous attack such
as the detonation of a nuclear device in a US city. If such a
dictatorship comes to be, historians will trace it's roots to the Bush
Presidency. It is the duty of every citizen of the republic to fight to
restore the constitution and punish the traitors who aim to destroy it.
I intend to use this site as a clearing house for information that each person can use to defend democracy.

Profiles of Conservative individuals
I am involved in a new project called People to People Offense. It is based on my memories of play basketball as a kid. I remember playing one to one deffense against players. This kind of defense had the advantage over zone defense that one could wear the opponent down mentally. I feel like something similar is needed to respond to conservative commentators. Conservative commentators are different from liberal commentators in that the conservative movement finances them lavishly. This means that there are more professional commentaors and the professional commentators are more strictly loyal to conservative message. You almost never see a conservative commentator try to triangulate between liberals and conservatives the way that almost all "liberal" conservatives do. Like the Profiles of Conservative individuals the People to People Offense project hopes to single out individual conservative writers and pick apart their arugments day after day. I invite all of you to pick one and keep a blog of their lies and mistakes that can be used by other liberals when confronted with their arguments.
